I will be leading my first ride, starting from the dealership on Saturday the 3rd of March, weather-permitting. Be there by 9:30 and we'll be KSU by 10:00 am. This ride will be a leisurely, beautiful ride into the mountains, perfect for any beginners. We will take 276 up into NC to the Dupont State Forest and across into Hendersonville, where we will stop and eat at either Mike's on Main or Hannah Flanagan's, depending on which one has seating available. From there we will travel back down highway 25 to Greenville. 100 miles in total.
We will be in NC so make sure to bring your helmets! However, we can stop at Caesar's Head and again when we cross back into SC for those of you that would like to wait until the NC/SC border to put them on. Also, dress warmly, as the mountains tend to be about 5 to 10 degrees cooler than the upstate.
Again, this will be a nice, relaxing site-seeing ride with a few curves thrown in just for fun. I hope to see some new faces and chapter members on this one! Also, it's short in duration and we'll be making several stops. So, it should be fun, even for those without big touring bikes!
